Future Australian Pilot Astronauts
Hi, do you think there is any chance that the RAAF will refer any pilot astronauts to NASA in the future? Seeing as Australia doesn't have a space agency it is very difficult to get into space. If this does happen and they accept pilots it would be really awesome and increase an aussies chance of becoming an astronaut

Hi Sam,
I think it would be really awesome to go into space as well.
A few of my buddies and I have shuttle patches on our jackets. I can't wait to get out of my F/A-18 and into some real machinery!
Watching the shuttle land this morning made me want to go fire off my rocket.

More chance of getting a gig in space if you work for Virgin than the RAAF...
That is if you call 100klm space!

Why would the RAAF be involved?????
The majority of NASA astronauts are civilians with operational specific qualifications and experience.
