Show Me The Money!!!

After recently declining an invitation for an inteview(have a good job), i wish i had said "SHOW ME THE MONEY!!!".

Has anyone said this or will they say it the next time they get called for an interview or the next time they are asked to work on their day off.

Show Me The Money

I don’t think that this is an unreasonable question to ask prior to any interview they already have your resume and details its not as easy to get qualified staff that turn up and stay on as employers claim you only need to see the amount of time the same positions are readvertised time and time again.

I said this to an extension they asked me to do once. They basically wante me to work another 3 hours for free!!! I told them that I would happily do it provided they pay me. the company said NO! fair enough, I said... find someone else. If you cannot find someone else, then call me back... I will STILL happily do it. BUT the price just doubled!!!

IF the company doesn't put value on YOUR time, YOUR skills, and YOUR help... then you must value it yourself.

fcuk them...EVERYBODY else who does overtime at the airport gets paid big $$$$.. why am I any different?

they will HAPPILY pay someone ELSE to come in for the three hour duty, but won't give me the same money to EXTEND my duty. fcuk em.

Yeah count me in with Apache too...

some time ago a certain operator wanted me to pay almost 4K to get standardised on a Grob... Dreaming!

They called me a few months later saying that they would cover the cost... i told them it was too late, i got a better gig now...

What goes around comes around.

Aussie,

let me guess FT* (ex Ba* Systems). They are offering to pay half of the Insructor Rating these days.
