Turbine PIC vs Jet F/O

How much Turbine PIC is a marketable amount in your opinion before taking a jet job makes sense? Pay is roughly the same. Thinking about if Jet position goes away would be good to have the backup PIC time.
For some perspective, current GA turbine freight with possible move available to Jet freight. Money is similar, obviously a little more interesting flying with the Jet (DC-9 F/O based o.s).
Interested in some perspective as have well less than a thousand multi PIC and wondering if i should camp out for a while to build some time or go for it.

Take it from me because i speak from experience in this matter.

Take the jet time.

I repeat

Take the jet time...

My 2500 hours PIC turbine have counted for NOTHING...

Well not nothing - but next to nothing...

Same here....

Had 1000 hrs turbine time (PIC and F/O)...nobody wanted me

Got lucky onto a jet......now I'm getting an email or phonecall at least once a fortnite from airlines who previously turned me down offering me all sorts

I find it strange that companies have this attitude. From my experience, I found flying a multi piston and turbine in their particular operating environments, more difficult than flying a jet.
