Does that thing fly away every night or is it waiting on some AOG part from Magadan?
Seems like its' been parked there for weeks.

I think it was a 124 but it was over the international terminal and hard to see.
Turns out it left this morning so whatever it was was sorted.
Would it sit that long just waiting on a backload?

Yes, they very rarely fly them empty, they'll sit where they are until they find the next load.

I assume then that the crew also stay too. They would have had a nice relaxing two weeks or so in Perth if this is the case, all paid for by their company surely! How on earth do I get that kind of gig!

TLAW there were signs of thronomister twizzling during the after TO climb, but nothing serious.

Not quite as nice as you might think - they've got cabins on running along the spine of the aircraft. As you go towards the tail, corridor on left, cabins on right. Much like ship's crew cabins.
