Actually it wasn't working for me either when I first tried to read it, so no finger trouble.

yeh, the link worked for me too

Gav is obviously a gun, I wonder how much of the stuff he learnt actually sunk in

we make flying fun
10 hrs a week plus all the exams.......I wonder when the fun starts.
Maybe at the graduation p1ss up, coz I cant see the rest of it being much fun

No prices, anyone found out yet??

they offer skipper jobs
Careful, unless its changed, I think the offer was: you give skippers 30k and they will give you a job as f/o for 1 year

they offer skipper jobs
I can assure you that paying in excess of $30000 to fly a Metro for a few months is definately NOT a job...

Birdie tells me that JD is no longer involved and another reputable lot are sorta holding the baby for the moment.

Yes there is a shortage of pirates, IMHO there are no short cuts no matter how much money you poke at it, paying any employer to hire you is just nuts.

If you absolutely feel compelled to do so, then you should demand your money be held in escrow until you finish your bond, or a bank gaurantee at least, that should they go belly up you'll be right.

There only seems to be one success story on the web site, it would be very interesting to see how many guys get thought in the minimum time!

Had a look at their website and whilst they claim association with the AIRS Group of companies and associated company Aviation International Engineering Services conducts military maintenance services for the Singapore Airforce via a joint venture company Aerospace Engineering Services and employs over 100 staff.

There's precious little evidence of whom and where they are.

Google comes up empty handed.??? Well now that doesn't mean they are dodgy but it is unusual to nowadays have trouble finding something in cyberspace beyond their own website.

Unless I am not looking in the right place or for the right name no AOC either.

Now, more power to their arm if they can do as they claim, but so far it seems they are a little short on creds.

They do (or used to do at least) all the flying training component through RACWA which would explain no AOC. RACWA instructors, RACWA aircraft, etc etc.

I know Gavin went through RACWA, not sure how many other students there are though these days.

Ya know,

Whether he paid for the job or not, I thought it to be appropriate to throw in the fact that Gav is indeed a gun, or at least he is every few days or so when I fly with him.

That guy is obviously a very low time pilot, but if you'd told me when I met him/first flew with him that he actually had over 2000hrs, I'd believe you. Maybe I'm just a @#*$ pilot?

Onya Gav!

I wasn't commenting on that. I was commenting on the kid's ability, if that's okay with you. We all had to start somewhere, you know.
