And what about the grey/white paintjob??

jackthelad and anyone else with Airnorth pics,

Guys, it's magnificent to be able to converse with guys of whom all have flown the same aircraft for the same company!!! I miss my NT days with a passion, and am actually planning a trip to Alice, Darwin and Ayers Rock with some lads who I presently work with.
I was involved with the good ol' mail runs and as well as the night 'paper/freight' run.. so rego's like LTB, WMP, etc ring a large bell.
Based out of Alice for 3.5yrs (first 18mths with Alice Air Charter), I had a fabulous time and the flying really was magnificent. For those who were around when Airnorth Alice Springs was renamed to 'Chartair', and a new logo design was put up for competition, then you'll know whose design was selected, and still used
Please send me pics guys and allow me to relive the memories, just as you have and the many after us that will.
An overseas jockey,
H

Devil

Would someone care to explain the (possibly embarrassing) story behind the last couple of posts?

Pathie, suggest you ask Bush Mechanics why the TWP rebuild stopped so early on after being commenced if you'd really like to get the story from the source. It is good to see it flying again though.
From what I heard the tale of the rebuild had quite a twist to it....
