YLRE PPRUNE Party
A reunion of D&G Pprunners who have either been banned, or who might be banned at some time in the future!
To be held in the Oasis Bar at the Albert Park Motor Inn, Longreach at 07:00 pm on Saturday 9 June 2007. The reunion will be followed at 11:00 am on the 10th by the arrival of B707: VH-EBA "The City of Canberra" at the Qantas Museum.
I hear that FTDK, Sunfish and J430 will be there. I think BeachKing will also, although I don't know if he has ever been banned. However, that's not to say that he won't be soon - it doesn't seem to take much! Chimbu Chuckles has to pass, his Bonza is in for interior enhancements!
Should be a good weekend of aviation stuff washed down with a few coldies.
Any chance this can have a sticky until next weekend?

What a great idea!
BrokenConrod, Yasser and I are hitching a ride to YLRE with the Dr in the Fork-tailed Dr Killer.
He's promised to demo a full-flap side-slip for us.
Should be a great weekend!

Sounds like a party already, one shout each and we are all tipsy! Lucky he has a Bonza to fit you all in! See ya there.
You don't get out much do you
Anybody else rocking up?

Yeah, it will be like Mom, Dad and the kids on the 50 cc Honda that you see on the streets of Bangkok.
The Rat can sit on the handle bars, BC can stand on the pedals and we'll stick Yasser side-saddle on the luggage rack.
I think we'll go with orange-yellow-orange-yellow vests, from front to back!

Hey Squarky!
Had a dry run to YLRE yesterday just to be sure that I could find the place. Lots of work going on. Home for the 707 is almost ready, plus a new line of tie-downs for the lighties.
The locals are talking of big plans for Longreach. Extensions to the runway and a new "International" hotel.
Took the lecky folding bike for a run into town and back along the windiest bike track I have ever seen. Went OK with FTDK and me but will be crowded with BC and Yasser on board.
Could have sold a couple of lecky folding bikes - big hit with the locals.
Should be a good weekend!
