Whatever happened to "The Duck"?
Whatever happened to the PPRuNe Duck and its globetrotting? I have a vague memory of it returning "home". Did it? Or was I asleep at the time and just dreamed it?

There would be very few of the original PPRuNers left who would remember the travels our fluffy friend. in fact a good number of the current ones were probably still in school. Doesn't time fly when you're having fun.
There used also to be a very high standard of quality debate and discussion of aviation this 'n that whilst he was travellin' around. Now its mostly about EBAs, AWA's and whether I should go to this or that interview and who does the best/cheapest B737 rating.
I suspect PPRuNe Duck has either expired of terminal boredom or was irradiated to death in one of them new Xray thingummies.

Can't say I know anything about the PPRuNe duck however the North Queensland Aero Club duck "DOUG" has seen his fair of adventures lately, both around the beautiful far north and overseas.

Clarrie me old
Pretty sure he had the full international airline crew ID which seems to work with the blokes down here. I think the hardest thing for customs and immigration was keeping a straight face when they got the Gen Dec and signed off the departure release.

My old Mum, bless her, used to say "A gentleman never asks a lady her age".
Capt, sir, consider yourself reprimanded
Voice, I remain your obedient servant and bow to your superior knowledge.
I presume, therefore, that it is fair to say that the wandering PPRuNe Duck hath returned to wander no more, its wings having been clipped (so to speak).

If the duck was with me right now it would be in Wilmington DE, USA.

Wilmington Delaware huh, that's where most people disguise/hide their ill gottens in a good 'ol blind Delaware Trust. Mebbe Duck was doing a bit of freelancing whilst on tour Fess up now??, if I recall correctly you were the last person seen with PPRuNe Duck leaving the country in the direction of Weston Supermare. Anybody actually going to Weston-super-Mare HAS to be guilty of something.
