Nzcpl-> Ozcpl?
Haha IF you want to convert your NZ CPL to Austrailian CPL. Do you require to sit any written exam or flight test.

Have a look at the above link, the TTMRA info pack which is now dated July 2007 no longer contains fees of $130 for each rating and or endorsement.
This document states $160 for CPL and all endorsements and ratings.
This is a very recent change, they still get you though, you still have to pay $196 for the ASIC Card and what a hassel that looks like.

No written exam or flight test.
When I did it, I went to the local CASA office in Darwin and the lady there signed off on an interim licence that let me fly immediately until the real one arrived. Of course that was before the days of ASICs-for-all.

in short, its gonna cost you a fk load of coinage...especially if you have quite a few different endorsements and ratings and they will screw about something shocking. On the upside, once you have applied and gotten an ARN (aviation reference number) you are entitled to fly in oz on your NZ CPL

Nike (Just do it)
I can't believe that you are arguing over a couple of hundred dollars when you have just forked out thousands for your licence. You either want to work in Australia or not. If you think this is expensive try getting a FAA or JAR licence.
As for the original post do the research on the appropriate website. You are supposed to be a professional pilot who can read and write and now surf the net.
Be aware that a licence gained under TTMRA, if you lose your licence in one country it is encumbent on the authority of the other to repeal that licence also. Double edge sword.
If you think this is harsh wait for reality, this post is done at least once a week here.
