i am looking to finish my CPL very soon. I wanted to go to Melbourne for a month or so to do my CIR.
Any recommendation for a good yet cheap school anywhere in Melbourne? I just havent got much idea about schools out there thats why i ask.
Thanks!

I can recommend Bini's
3 very experienaced instructors (20,000+ hrs ea)
This is my own opinion, Im sure there are others who'd favour other schools.
my adivce, give them all a call, or pay a visit to each and see who you like.
happy flying (at lesat in Melbourne In June/July your bound to get REAL IMC)

How about "competitively priced with a top reputation"? Do a search on Bini's, this one gets done a few times a year with amazingly the same results.

Can't go past Peter Bini Advanced Flying Training. I am not sure how they compare cost wise but absolutely the best (Steve Pearce is CFI and literally is a legend as CIR instructor).
I have heard nothing but good things about Bini's.
I have never flown there myself (so no bias), but from what I have seen, they treat the students right, and don't muck them about.
Before I joined mil, I was looking to do the same thing, and I nutted it down to Bini's amongst all the schools in Melbourne.

Yep Peter Bini's would get my vote for Melbourne. Good school, very professional, and Steve is a really nice guy, with plenty of experience.
Haven't done my MECIR yet, but I flew with them early on in my training, and have absolutely no complaints about their standards and approach to instruction.
