It's not a TV aerial, that would be underneath. Satellite gear would be on top, TV underneath.
I managed to get a look inside during one of our turn-arounds today.
I haven't seen one of these since the late 90's.
I asked the captain however he refused to comment.

I think we can safely rule out a place for Virgin pilots to keep their wallets...
Jetstar might need one then, so they can charge their pilots a $10 entry fee to the cockpit,

I thought that the 737 bump might have meant that Virgin might not be so "Viginal" any longer, and was now in the family way.

Max, we could combine the two to create a whole new magazine. This would most certainly save a lot of perimeter fence lurkers having to subscribe to the two magazines you previously mentioned.
