Shortage perhaps?

Sad to see it seems to be happening a lot these days.

Service not available due to no ATC being available. No ATC available due insufficient ATC. No additonal ATC available due to oversupply of ATC.

Go figure

Should the punters get a rebate from ASA on yesterday's reduction in service being provided, because of staff shortages.
Longer term should CASA be investigating ASA's ability to provide Air Traffic Services, in particular having sufficient trained staff etc, in the same vein as an AOC holder.
ASA and their previous aliases have never caused a great deal of comfort in their ability to create and manage realistic staff levels, its' dish out redundancies whilst planning the next major recruiting campaign. And then fart and blame (insert AFAP, Civil Air, Global Warming etc)
Maybe a 'show cause' is in order.
