I don't think anybody disagrees with your comment, perhaps with all the airline action underway, those of us who would like to make a career of GA, may have a chance of doing so!

27000 hours
Most of our major airlines have aircraft with 27000 hours or more on them. They don't throw them away so they can get one with this year's paint scheme.
The 747 at Longreach flew for 95000 hours.
