Ardmore pilot expo

So what will I learn if I attend this weekends Pilot Expo at Ardmore??

Maybe that being a pilot is a smart investment in a certain long term career that will pay huge dividends in the end...

Maybe that purchasing an aircraft is a wise move that will guarantee stress free profits and low cost flying....

..perhaps I might be introduced to a smart, young, but very experienced instructor that will foster my love of aviation and get me qualified at minimum time and expense.

See you there

mattyj:

I'd be careful if I was you;

You run the risk of actually having a good time.

Good time of the year to visit Kiwi-land. Might go over myself this weekend for a look.

Any info on tickets etc?.

Don't drink the coffee from the big flying schools, its spiked with BZP and PCP to make you feel enthusiastic and positive. Its the same stuff they use at the casino!! (They get it in Bulk from the Labour party which puts it in the drinking water before Elections...its called Bad decision powder) works good at raves too!!

mattyj do you ever have anything positive to say?

I am sure there will be people out there who will benefit from it somehow.

Had a look at the Pilot Expo on Sunday.

Small show but well run. Could do with a similar Pilot Expo in Australia.

Ardmore looks like a nice place to fly. The Aero Club is friendly, good bar with cheap tap beer!. Nice clean aircraft at good rates.

(ZK-DAN: Coffee van was good but $4/$5 cup!. )

Great to see the turn out at the expo on the weekend. Shame a few people had to ruin the tone of the event by trying to break into the tent in the early hours of sunday morning. great work by the security.i suppose youd expect nothing less by the guy who lends his plane to his un-licensed boyfriend. ironically its seams that his car gets rear ended as well. yep there is a god

It was a good event, seminars were well received from what I am told.
Shame WP openday fell on the Saturday as well.

I hope the organisers will run another one in the future, perhaps it will become a regular event.

Yeah - why the hell would you want to break into the tent at some horrible hour of the morning? Whats with that........... Have not heard the outcome of the plane vs car incident yet!

bulk - copious or plentiful?

Maybe that was a bulk strip? Bulk is used to describe the sack of cash, instead of flat wads needed to for exercise. Or maybe bulk because of the volume of insurance paperwork, or maybe bulk because of the bits that are inspected for damage and replaced?

"IM-RICK-JAMES!" are you saying that the owner of said aircraft was naughty - or nice? Bit hard to understand your post, and wouldn't want you to get in trouble for it.

ECT?

P.S. didn't taste the coffee. I'm saving up for a trial flight.

correct answer to wrong question

Ha ha, sorry, I should have clarified.

Was the pilot of the aircraft having a bulk strip on security (NICE)?
Or was the pilot of the said aircraft being accused of breaking into the tent (NAUGHTY)?

Because PPRuNe is an open forum, I would hate anyone's reputation to be tarnished by accident. It is not hard to work out who people are - even though they hide behind "pen-names" so that is why I am wanting a black and white answer for the sake of the people "named" in your posts.

ECT?

P.S. PPRuNe and the internet never forget!

its obvious to every one. every one in south auckland knows who was breaking in to the tent. "im rick james" isnt ruining anyones reputation , the people involved in the incident are doing a fine job of ruining there own.
