Coffs Coast and inland schools?
For my neighbour who is still pre-GFPT and looking at CPL and further training, does anyone care to comment, have any recent experience or recommendations on schools around the Coffs Harbour and inland area?

Gday Ricky two possibly three choices for commercial at Coffs harbour,
PPT (professional pilot training) which is Run by Robert Loretan (an ex raaf type with a good reputation) they train in warriors and duchess and put through 8 or 10 Air New Guinea student a year not sure how many others they put through as well.
Also there is Vaughn Jones at Coffs coast jet center ? also a good instructor with a back ground in biz jets and choppers, Not 100 percent sure what his situation is since he sold the charter side of his operation (to coast jet) I do know he is still instructing though.
Coast jet are also operating at Coffs and they are affiliated or part of Johnston's at port macquarie so also may be able to help.
I'm at the aero club and only doing charter at the moment so I try to stay neutral. any questions email at [email protected]

Training Around Coffs
As Neil suggested, outta the three I can recommend PPT in Coffs. They are a good mob to go with. Good standard of training and monies worth. Will be well looked after. Contact Bob or John there, work #: 02-66515199.

Mate don't what ever you do have any dealings with vaughan jones. He is nothing short of a crook and I have had a few friends who have been stung badly by him.
