..........and who's fault is that lefty ??

The award is there, if people ( particularly non AFAP members ) are willing to work for conditions below that ( and we all know those people are out there ), what the hell can any union do about that

I still remember a guy turning up to my place of employ many years ago and saying ( foolishly, in front of a number of colleagues ) " I dont need to get paid, money is no problem "

By the by, if you want a real crack up, read what your Big QF brothers ( and others ) are suggesting on a Jet* bashing thread, they reckon you GA guys should knock back 85K a year on a shiny new jet, I'd be asking what the 250K a year sky gods are going to do for you.

AFAP is not pathetic.

People who whinge are pathetic...people who join and display backbone are not.

There is often calls for pilot unity on this Forum..well I would suggest that AFAP is your only choice..AIPA is not interested...TWU is not industry savvy enough...what choice is there?

LJH's IR laws/average airline management indicate that you need to be sticking together. If however you are not prepared to be members and SUPPORT the Feds...i.e get off your arses and stop whinging...then you most assuredly deserve what you get as a result.

As to 'QF pilots' asking GA pilots to "just say no"?

A very few doing so on here does not an 'airine full of morons' make...the other 98% of QF pilots have the intelligence to know that is a stupid suggestion...mind you a 'serious' adgenda item in a meeting of senior management pilot types at QF over the pending A380 was whether they should wear 5 bars or not ...I kid you not...allegedly

Quite correct IMHO. It does indeed worry me that so many people have to say so many times that 'Disunity is Death!!'

Unfortunately, I have the deepening suspicion that the knockers and nay sayers will only wake up when it is too late!
