Plane down near Nguiu

Hey just wondering if anyone has any more information bout a plane that went down earlier today, apparently near Panu.

Whatever the case lets hope everyone is ok.

grapevine info only but not surprised if true
Couple of kids saw an a/c low and "dipping towards the water" when they lost sight of it. Called for help and search was on. No a/c was lost or no incident occured but full marks to the kids for being alert and proactive.
Pity they just spend a hit load of tax payer money.
