Cessna 206 Question

Quick question regarding the C206.

What is the significance of the TU in front of the 206 as a model type?

ie: TU206G

See a few of those turbocharged utilities around our way, usually with a big Bundy sticker on the back window, spotties on top and a swag in the back!

Ah the ol' C209. I have to ask, why buy a c206 when you can get double capacity in the C209 for the same operating costs? Or for a little more performance out of short/hot strips try the C209T (twin engine, not turbo).

I really enjoyed my short stint flying the old bird, unfortunetly cut short when my right hand was eaten by a croc.

Cheers,
Tiger.
