Is this the same contract that Maroomba have been doing for well forever, or is it a new one?

Maroomba has had the contract for as long as I can remember, they currently use B200 King Air and a Cessna Citatron (ahhh spelt wrong)

Last year WA government took the bold move of buying a B200 and a 850XP and the contract is to run and operate these aircraft for the australian government. I.e crews/maintenance/operations

These are rumoured aviation companies that have bid for the contract:

Maroomba Airlines
Skippers Aviation
National Jet
Complete Aviation Services (Incomplete Aviation services?)
Ad - Astral

There are other operators but i cant remember them off by hand

Cheers

So you mean for the WA Government not the Australian Government? I would not have thought it would be worth it unless they can charge well. Everyone is flat out at present and things only appear to be getting busier eg more aircraft arriving etc.
I guess Maroomba is in the box seat though.
