Aerobatic Training in Sydney

Hi all,

Can someone please tell me of the avaliable coarse in the Sydney area which specialise in aerobatic training and also any personal experiences you may have had with that company.

Also an idea of the cost for a basic aerobatics coarse / endorsement would also be appreciated.

Thanks in advance.

Another vote for SAS. Excellent instruction, and top people.

Another vote for SAS from here as well.

Have flown with them for over 10 years and cannot reccommend them highly enough.

What sort of experience do you have so far ?

PM me for more details if you like.

If you can make it to Camden, Curtis Aviation does basic aero Endo's in their Citabria's and has a Pitts S-2B for advanced aero's. I have been extremely happy with the aerobatic training/flying and the welcome feeling you get there. Airborne Aviation also has a Citabria and Pitts S-2C for the same although I have no personal experience with them.

Beauty of Camden is, in the Pitts you can be doing aero's 90 or so seconds after brakes release and there is no long taxy's involved... The training area is immediately adjacent to airfield.

Cheers

If you dont mind the drive north I would recommend Action Aerobatics out of Maitland.

Phil is a great instructor with years of experience and his prices are much more realistic than at SAS.

He operates a few Pitts and unlike SAS, they are not "invite only" as I was told when I enquired with them.
