Corporate Jet maintenance
Hello all,
just wondering if anyone amongst you can help me out a little. After many months of waiting and countless forms sent to the australian government i now have my residence permit and am looking at making the move down under.
I am trying to locate any corporate jet operator that may be in need of an engineer or even an FBO/MRO that is also in a position to give a pom technician a chance.
I have various biz jet type ratings and a good working knowledge of the corporate aviation sector the only thing i dont have is any contacts in Oz. Im aware that the market is very small but any help would be greatly appreciated.

Have you contacted CASA regarding Australian AME Licensing? Recognition of overseas AME licenses and Australian AME licensing should be somewhere in here.
The corporate jet market is not big in Australia and I suspect most corporate jet operators would use third party maintenance. You could search here for owner details of the aircraft types you are licensed to maintain.
Alternatively, Google the Australian distributors of the aircraft types you are licensed to maintain and contact the distributors direct.

Hi there are only a few organisations in Australia that have more than a couple of corporate jets to look after. If you are looking at the East coast Aeromil Pacific and Hawker Pacific would be worth a try and on the West coast Airflite and Hawker Pacific. All can be found via google.
