Wind up.

This is not a wind up,I am seriously seeking this experience to improve my quals. I am a bit older than others and am short when considering the age/ experience criteria. I wasted 3 years at uni and at 27 and 800 hours I am not competitive. I have a Gr3. instructor rating, I/R and all the ATPL subjects but am short the twin hours. I need the TWIN Hours.

Then why dont you try a meatbombing outfit. A few of these company's have twins and you will get away without paying for it. I've seen guys with 600hrs get their first multi this way then end up moving onto a better operation.

I am looking for ICUS on B747, A340, B777 etc.

If anyone knows who will help me, please let me know.

PS. I am not type rated and think that with free ICUS should come the endorsement too.

Fark this attitude that the only "real" flying is up north is getting old! Everyone is different for ****sakes! Who cares if he flies on the east coast???!!!

You will find those type ratings come free, so does the training. However you may be bonded, they also tend to take intelligent people. I don't think you qualify.

Done both. Been up North, and instructed on the East Coast. North wins hands down. Infact if it where not for the twin job I now have back on the East coast I would have hung around up North rather then return home. I learnt more about how to fly in 1 week in the NT then I did in the 300 odd hrs preceding it. Instructing is NO substitute for the real thing. This said I also had to Re-learn some thing REAL quick in order to effectively fly Twins back here on the J curve.
(Dam now I want to head back North )

not neccesarily.

However, reacting to sarcasm would indicate to me, a lack of intelligence.

A serious response..

Brown eyes.. you are 27 with 800 hrs and Grade 3

Only a few years ago, I was 35 with 700 hours, no G3, or multi or IR. I used my head, found some work, have flown 600hrs per year since, now fly B737.

Stop moaning, and DO something about it.
How hungry you are to succeed, usually indicates whether you will make it.

Dubya - I completely agree.

I havn't even completed my CPL, and I have had 2 job offers. All through getting to know people and bashing their doors down. I know it is harder to get twin time, but surely the principal is the same? Congrats on the 737! Hope to be a right hand man one day.

I've been up here for 2 months now having come from way down south, and I can definatly agree with that. It's as real as it gets up here. One of the most prudent lessons in the first few hours flying around up here is just how much you dont know.
