Canberra Airport reduction in aeronautical charges?

The media release for the Canberra Airport lease to business owner Mr Terry Snow stated:
Canberra Airport is subject to a CPI minus X price cap on its aeronautical charges. The X value for Canberra Airport has been set at 1.0 for the next five years. This will result in real reductions in aeronautical charges of 5.0% over this period.
Anyone wish to comment on the "real reductions in aeronautical charges of 5%" over the period?

With only part of the runway available for operations perhaps the landing fee should be reduced proportionately!

PAF, you are probably correct ... no one cares about Canberra.

The original length of the main runway has been back in operation for the last couple of weeks. Not exactly sure when the new part will be opened. RWY 12/30 will be out of action until at least the end of the month.

Cheers,

NFR.
