Meteorology
Hi,
I have my CPL (in-house) meteorology exam tomorrow and I feel I need to brush up on weather associated with the different types of clouds, and also the types of icing for given types of cloud.
If someone knows of any links, pictures, diagrams or notes that could provide this information it would be greatly appreciated.
I have already looked at my CPL textbooks and they don't explain this information, just what the different clouds are and how they are formed.
Regards,
Multi-engined.

There are lots of sites around dedicated to weather. You can probably find one with a google search. Weatherzone has fora, and you can probably find a thread on it relating to this topic.

The FAA have a great interactive tutorial on icing - although it's intended to be practical there is some theory in it.
Don't have the link handy though - start at the faa homepage.

I am using Bob Tait's theory book and I found the cloud/weather descriptions perfectly accurate. I'm up for my test soon as well, when I can scrape up $144 and get the time, in the next couple weeks. Give me a yell if you want some clarification on anything and I'll try my best.
