I have a better idea for approaches which I think will match success rate of plane of motions ideas on instrument approaches (on a ratio graph of fatality Vs arrivals).
Why not try a variation of the tiger moth method.
I shall call it the " ME DEAD" method
I recommend the use of Bose X headsets for this procedure as screaming passengers may cause some hearing damage.

- As soon as you get station passage - apply full back stick and full left or right rudder ( I prefer to spin to the left so I can look out my side of the aircraft for the airport when I break visual)
- Add a margin to your aerodrome elevation (say 500 feet) to use as you missed approach point (your own margin may differ depending on your quality of life and emotional state )
- At the missed approach point if not visual, - recover and climb in a tight spiral and have another go : note this may have to be done on partial panel depending on the quality of you AH

plane of motion, your gonna love it when you get onto something with an EGPWS. It would be absolutely brilliant for your style of flying. Mate, just select 10nm range and you'll think your in heaven.

Even better Plane of Motion:
Get yourself some software (search and it will be found) that will take a GPS feed, use Level 2 DTED from the Shuttle mission, and shade terrain based on current alt and what you define. You can set it to shade red when you are 400 or 300 ft away from it.. descend until it all turns red then climb like a mofo.
Of course.. if you wouldn't mind old chap, could you post who you fly for?? Just wanna make sure no-one I care about flies with them... of course I'd also like to direct the people I don't like onto your company.. (actually, to be honest I wouldn't do that.... maybe.. ) Great wind up though... have a beer!

Did you know that if you fly an approach inverted, you can break out at least 5 feet earlier than if you were upright. If you also poke a long stick out the window at the same time, it can be used as a temporary radar altimeter.

You could try Ganns method in "Fate is the Hunter" when in extremis. Reel out the HF and let down till the weight bounces of the water. No good today though - no HF - at least not the reel in/out type.
Friends, don't "bite". This is almost EXACTLY the same as a wind up that was posted on PPRuNe a few years ago - seem to remember it was titled something like "Who needs DAPS anyway?" Don't waste your breath explaining the technicalities of the danger involved, etc, etc.
