Something wrong with the nose wheel perhaps causing it to collapse, then a cartwheel or some other manoeuver to end up upside down on 21.

only three years??

That Glassair was a real work of art, and absolutely immaculate. Real building time must have felt closer to 10 years. A year of work in the wing alone.
ECT?

I actually heard he had been working on it for 12 years.

A pristine aircraft, no expense spared.
12 years is correct, a damn shame.
A lot of us have drooled over this Glassair for some years.

At least he was not injured.

Greg's one did the same last year? a design fault of sorts perhaps, something for the engineering boffins to nut out.
