Frivolous claims ...... I dont think so!

The difference between doing it on the tarmac v hangar
1/ certificate of approval
2/ Trained personel (LAME's)
3/ Data
4/ Tooling
5/ Certification

Yes your right there are plenty of other shonks in GA, DA are not on there own! Just look at the previous posts here for some of our other "reputable" operators up here.

And dont you mean cheaper not better?

I hear the new hangar housing the clown will actually be a big top!

lamepilot,

its seems to me you have become a pretty game pilot....take Continental 520' s advice and be careful.

its a small world and beyond everything else you are totally ill informed as to any aspect of this operation. You seem to be acting on personal resentment as opposed to professional knowledge and or opinion.

It may be time to start acknowledging the positive change this firm has brought to the NT piston charter market and the benefit to the community via its community grant scheme. So its not , take , take , take, like many before.

you can either take it or leave it, but as far as the originator of this thread goes, he or she should give these guys a call and try and further his or her career. God knows he or she will do so at a rapid pace due to opportunities that this company can provide.

yes, i have been there done that.......have you, or is this why you are so full of resentment ?

good night and lets hope no more non sense from you or other members of your minority group.

Luvjet,
What in the world is the community grant scheme?

Is it to do with the fact that flights are subsidised by pilots paying for icus?

ahhh it IS nice to see loyalty, not much of that going around these days.

Good to see everybody is in the minority group. Just out recently, the New Direct Air Theme Song. You may need QuickTime.

ICUS????

Is it permissable to do ICUS with paying pax on board?
Surely it is training.

I dont see any illegality in it. Both pilots are endorsed, the guy in the RHS would have the min hours on type for charter etc.

I am not to sure how those fare paying pax might feel knowing the guy in the LHS is a low timer, just finished his IR, just up from ML, doing his first few flights in the territory, etc, etc.

I admit I dont know which runs they send the icus guys on. I hope for their sake it is not with the good clients.

ICUS

What's the point? ICUS does not count as command time.

Direct Air Clowns vs Darwin GA -The Village People?

Young man, there's no need to feel down.
I said, young man, pick yourself off the ground.
I said, young man, 'cause you're in a new town
There's no need to be unhappy.

Its fun to say “L………A………M……….E”

That's when someone came up to me,
And said, young man, take a walk up the street.
There's a place there called D!irectA!r
They can start you back on your way.

Its fun to say “L………A………M……….E”

Young man, that may be your opinion,
I said young man, lets examine some of the facts,

1) They have a substantial fleet of aircraft (mostly twins)

2) They pay the award (most pilots on full time)

3) They have their own maintenance facility

4) They are extremely busy with many lucrative contracts

5) All their staff get along, and you always see them out together

Lame pilot/Frontseatpassenger: The reason they may look like clowns is because they are always laughing and having fun when they tally up their logbooks at the end of each month and read this website.

Bullamakanka: How did you start out? Everyone starts out as a low time pilot, don’t you think it’s safer to have inexperienced pilots fly with experienced charter pilots to gain experience prior to doing their own command flights.

Anyway, my advice is, if you can’t beat them join them, because they aren’t going anywhere and definitely not getting any smaller. However with an attitude like some people on this website, you wouldn’t even get a job cleaning their toilets.

If you can’t lose your bitter Darwin GA attitude, I hear Bunnings is having a sale on 6ft of rope.

P.S Spewing I will be missing the CAZ crawl this year.

I doubt any of those organisations offering “4) lucrative contracts” would want inexperienced pilots in the left hand seat, period. Also, I’m sure the guys are laughing when they tally up their ICUS column. Ha Ha, how much did it cost me this month.
Only one person (read sub-human) deserves 6ft of rope from the way he has treated people. JR is the cause of some of the bitter Darwin GA attitude going around. Just ask anyone that has been around long enough to get burnt.
Anyway, let’s here it from the top (Big Top) one more time.

1) They have a substantial fleet of aircraft (mostly twins)

Incorrect - Mostly crosshired, therefore no control of standards of maintenance.

One of the best collections of ****boxes assembled in the NT at any one time.

Dulux is not an overhaul company!

2) They pay the award (most pilots on full time)

Must be the only people they pay, but I guess if the pilots had to wait 120 days like all of the other providers there would be no one driving!

3) They have their own maintenance facility

Do they? I have not seen the red and white stripes painted on the roof yet.

I hear it will be called DA Maintenance/ Engineering Department (DAMED)

4) They are extremely busy with many lucrative contracts

So was the National Safety Council!

5) All their staff get along, and you always see them out together

So they do, quite often see pilots blowing management. You have me on this point.

No doubt WLF you have spent a few hundred hours ICUS under JR's desk (or did you log them as command?)

I wont be hanging myself .......... I am having far too much fun.

If it looks like suicide it was not, take this thread to the Police as evidence.

Anyway back to cleaning the toilets ....... thought your **** did'nt stink, did you have baked beans on doughnuts for brekky again?

This website just goes from bad to worse. I guess since NAC and Air Ngukurr both dont exist anymore, people just had to find another company to p!ss on. Its a damn shame things have come to this. I have been in NT for 5 years now, the GA scene has changed alot, but the b!tchiness has increased 10 fold.

Not Happy Jan

lamepilot,

hits have increased but guess what :

still the same, sad, resentful minority posting stupidity AND all you have done (tried to warn you, but your too thick skulled) is made it very easy for people to know the real identity of lamepilot.

you my fellow aviator are only making things worse for your self. minority groups with no substance tend to end up no where, right about where your are right now professionally.

quit while you are behind.

again , good night and i strongly suggest you stop your nonsense.

To all posters
Please lets just clarify a few facts

Re planes: “Mostly cross-hired, therefore no control of standards of maintenance”
Then why are all their planes being maintained by their OWN maintenance facility?

Hey luv jet he must have at least 1 brain cell since the genius figured out that dulux is not an overhaul company. I wonder if he knows that they produce paint??? If he does I would say he has 2 brain cells

I hear they will be calling it
Licensed Aircraft Maintenance Engineering & DirectAir’s Unbeatable Maintenance Branch & Aircraft Superior Service’s (LAME DUMB ASS)

Its funny coz its so easy to tell that you have the attitude of a disgruntled ex employee. Did they give you the sack for incompetence or did you loose your 5th star in the washing machine?? Why don’t you tell the network why the vendetta?? Don’t feel like a small and broken man because you only have 2 stars. Im sure you could get a job in Timor, you will fun, I hear it’s a riot.

And next time pal why don’t you actually do some research on your topics, I know there’s not that many picture books but I’m sure whoever is helping you read these posts will help you out, but make sure you don’t ask front seat passenger because he cant even read that this is a PILOT network not www. Papwcnmin.com (Professional Annoying Passenger’s who could never make it network)

“Just ask anyone that has been around long enough to get burnt” and its funny you say that front seat pax, does that mean you have been here that long??? Could you never make the “big” time?????

And if anyone ever meets these 2 people just stop and say something nice to them and give them a hug. Because after all the insults and bitterness I think they just didn’t get hugged enough as a baby. Tear tear,
Lame and front seat see you at throb on sat night honey mwaaaaaa
