Qantas NPA SOPs

Can anybody out there let me know what the Qantas SOPs are for aircraft configuration for a Non Precision Approach? Specifically with respect to LLZ/DME if there happens to be any distinction.

cheers.

Why would you need to know this?

Hi there,

I assume this is for a Qantas/Jetstar sim ride. SOPs for NPAs are fully configured by final descent on the inbound track of the NPA (i.e. Landing Flap, Gear Down etc)

Hope that helps
Cheers

Smile

If it's for the sim ride it'll be WELL covered in the briefing. ILS and Twin Locator/NDB/whatever it's called this month in the Jepps are set up slightly differently, but you will be briefed. Don't sweat.

It has nothing to do with QF SOP's, just how the sim is required to be flown.

After all, it IS a single-pilot ops check

Good luck
