Dunno why but trying to get the skinny on the actual Aus CX deal is like the proverbial blood from a stone.
Are the boys just too busy to bother with pprune - or too broke to get an internet connection? The answer to those q's would pretty much tell me what I need to know.
Tried a couple of times to get info with no joy. Anybody.....

does anyone know if the australian based freighters are classics or if they are -400's???. also, is the routes network linking through honkers, or is it just into honkers and back again??????
Palmdeira,
The Australian based Freighters are classics.
The trips are planned through HK (on to Narita, for instance), not just HK return.
Base pay is circa. $93K for an F/O.

thanks VS. Do you work for them, coz if you do then you can make a lot of people happy by spilling the beans here!!!!
So about $93k base - how about things like super fund, LOL, flight pay etc? Days off, length of trips, routes? Having done your mandatory 3y, how long does one look at for the 2 options - command on the freighter, or xfr to the pax fleet, and would that mean a definate xfr to HKG?? Are there any plans to replace the classics with NG's?

more info please on Salary if possible...
Great information... Many thanks. Concerning salary, do you know if it's fix, or is that considered as a minimum with extra pay over a certain amount of flight hours per month ? French system is very different... and pay depends on number of hours, and night flying beeing payed 150 %. How does it work with CX ? Do you know where one can find a pay scale for F/O's by any chance ?
