Anzac Spirit
Have just attended the local ANZAC parade and watched a magnificant fly past of several of our local Aero Club members (7) in their own and aero club aircraft.Following lunch, I went to the Aero Club to chat with the 'boys' and congratulate them on a job well done, only to find out that the Anzac Spirit is well and alive at CASA, charging them a fee of $130+ just to conduct the flypast for the benefit of all attending, and in memory of our fallen comrades.
I would have hoped that on such occasions, exemptions would apply, not only for ANZAC day, but 11th November - Rememberance Day, and any other bonifide approved commemeration of Service.
Lest we forget,............indeed.

Cheer up boys. CASA wasn't in the house in Afghanistan at dawn this morning. Flypast by Australian Army and Royal Air Force CH47s for the Dawn Service: f***ing awesome, done with pride.
