Melbourne F1GP Flying displays?
Hi all,
Anyone got times of when certain things will be flying about? The website has times for the F/a-18 and the QF-7?7 on Sunday but no mention of the Roulettes, SeaHawk and I think the Squirrels will be having a display as well. Any times of their displays would be appreciated!
Also where near the track would be the best place to view the Airshow? Not interested in paying the $$$ to see those grubby f1 things follow each other around.
Cheers and thanks!

Off memory, last year the Seahawk flew earlier on Sunday morning, around 10 or 11. If you want to be close to it, it takes off from the golf course section along Queens Road.
The roulettes and F-18 both flew in the hour leading up to the race.
Lakeside Drive could be a good view if you don't want to go in.

When you live....
Albert Park beach is the place to be - only 1/2km from the track with uninterrupted views (especially if you go out on one of the piers). From memory the display axis is east-west so you'll have plently of action directly overhead.
