British Airways 747 in Adl?

Hi, just wondering if anyone knows why there was the British Airways 747 in Adelaide this morning. Saw it take off just as i was arriving at the airport... Looked pretty nice...not an airline we see in Adl often... a Jumbo too!

Dunno, just wish l was still going there.Adl would have been the usual alternate if the forecast for mel was fine. The flight from sin invariably overflies Adl on the way there
