Kept that outta the news for a week they did!!!!!!

Speaking about keeping things out of the news, I heard a whisper about a mid-air between two PA28's near or at Coldstream. But haven't seen anything in papers or on TV. Can anyone shed any light on this? I believe one aircraft was overflying & the other was in the circuit, & one got hit from behind. Both landed safely.

Funny you should say that buzzzz.
If one aircraft was established on left downwind and another joined 45 degrees oblique downwind, and they hadn't seen each other, would the left main tyre, of joining aircraft, hit the right wing of established a/c????
Ahhh, new procedures at work!!!

Must have had there Transponders turned of or else there TCAS would have gone off or maybe they had there lights off below 10,000'??
Or it could have just been 2 solo students?
lucky pilots sounds like it could have been bad.
