Question Tuna Spotting

Hi All,

I'm after some info in regards to Tuna Spotting.

I've searched PRUNE, and found nothing!

Is this operation still around, and if so, what kinda experience would they be after? Could this be an avenue for a fresh CPL? I know that the 337's were operating out of PLC at one stage but I'm not sure if that's still the case.

Any info would be great.

I believe C337's still operate out of Port Lincoln. I'm not sure who the operator is, but I'm sure Tuna City Aviation would provide the info you require.

Whitpages reveals :

TUNA CITY AVIATION PTY LTD
Airport Port Lincoln 5606 (08) 8684 3616

look it up

Hello Natit,

A company called North West Air Work with head office in Exmouth I believe does that , along with other aerial work and scenic flights including charter.

He also has bases in 3 other locations. I also understand he (the owner) is one off very few guys who will employ low time pilots.

So if you want a job and have just bare CPL worth give him a call and send u'r resume, he won't be hiring till end Feb 06 for the upcoming season, they r reasonably busy during the season and could expect to do 100 hrs a month for the 5-6 month period ..look up his details on the yellow pages

Good luck
