I just returned from a 10 day vacation in K.L. & found the joint very liveable!!! Prices for food were about half aust price , grog & wine very dear though. Computers & electronics about half aust prices but cars & Car parts about double the price . Medical costs about half aust prices. There is plenty of expat accommodation in upmarket condo appts, lots of empty ones so leases can be negotiated. If you get the opportunity go for it!!!!!!

Eh?
Not sure where you're shopping but the rpices I find are about the same in both countries if you shop around. I suspect you are paying way too much for computers in Aus, and way too much for cars in KL.

Both these areas are my specialty.
