I would hazard a guess that the numbers are about right for 23 aircraft so unless something is announced that will probably be about it, but then again what would I know

I hear on a grapevine that they're expecting a signifficant expansion of pilot & F/A numbers in the not too distant future.

Talking

They must still be short of Captains There are five Captains coming down to AUS next month on loan from Jetstar Asia to join the three that have been there for the last five months

Is there no upgrading of F/O's going on? Why do they need so many Captains?

Jetstar International maybe

Only asking

Perhaps because they're trying to keep a diminishing fleet of 717s airborne, whilst training people for an increasing fleet of A320s as well as crewing said A320s.
