Post Ryanair

Hello I am struggling with my assignment and need some advise on Ryanair and the 'no frills' airline sector.

I would like to ask people what they think are Ryanairs main strengths, weaknesses and threats as well as their opportunities. What is Ryanair's strategy? Will they ever be as succesful as the main airlines such as BA?

Thank-you all responses are greatly appreciated....

Question

ahhhh.......
I thought this was the D&G Q&A, not the UK version, you may get a better response asking this Q on a different part of the site.

Now if you where asking a Q about Virgin.......

Hint: "GOOGLE"
Try This

First of all, I'd learn to use a spell checker...teachers love correcting spelling mistakes.

Secondly, how have you previously researched this topic? Internet, aviation mags, journals? Have you spoken to someone at Ryanair? Do you just want the answers, or do you actually want to learn about this sector?

Thirdly, are you related to Fly MD-12???

Try this lot as a starter:

http://www.ryanair.com/site/EN/about.php

Google search should also throw up some stuff.

In any case, you're asking about corporate stuff, rather than flying stuff (which is what goes on here more).

For the corporate stuff, you're better off emailing one of the big European stockbroking houses or investment banks in London which does analysis on Ryanair and asking for a couple of recent reports on both the company and the industry. If you're able to prove your bona fides as a student, they may send you such stuff quite happily.

There are also books about Ryanair (and the wider industry); check a business school library (or even a big Waterstone's).

How long's the essay?
