MECIR in Brisbane.
Just after some information on where would be a good place to complete a MECIR in the Brisbane area.
I currently work as an instructor but the school I'm with dosen't really do much IFR training. Because of this I would rather spend a bit more money and recieve good training from a respected school. I would complete the course on a full time basis and am planning on it taking about 4 weeks or so, is this about right? I've heard good things about a school on the Gold Coast, can anyone back this up?
Thanks.

If you don't mind travelling a bit further afield then I can recommend JAS in Port Macquarrie.
They do an excellent job in around a month (helps to have your IREX first)
You will also get a Baron Endorsement and around 20 hours BE58 in the log book, can't be bad.
Good luck

Go see QAS at Caloundra. Good company. They actually fly IFR charter so they know what they are talking about, unlike many out there. Friendly environment with employment possibilities should you impress. Call 07 5492 7040 or www.qldaviation.com or pm me.
