Wink Anyone who's done instructing in Brisbane

I'm looking at doing an instructors course in brisbane. I was wondering where the best place to do this is.

If your suggesting a school i wouldn't mind knowing a bit about the school.

1. Whats the CFI like? is he a bit of a **** to work with? does he give everyone a fair go? and yes i already know that most CFI's are twats i was looking for something more constructive.
2. Is the coarse well structured? or do you have to go and photocopy a class mates text book because the instructor can't be f**ked.
3. Provided you pass the grade will the school hire you within 6 months of finishing or is the school so small that it's not likely to.
4. How many twin instructors are there (something to look forward to)
5. What are the newbie instructors paid.
6. What schools do you suggest i stay clear of (a reason might be nice but maybe you should pm this, we don't want to slander anyone).

i've got other questions but i'll leave it at that. I'm sure to reask these questions again through this thread. People seem to like to switch the topic from here to there. You sort of wonder how they keep their attention focused when their landing the airplane.

p.s. i have my cpl, just completing my multi. At the moment its a question of going GA or Instructing and i thought i better start figuring out which one i want to do.

Cheers for your feedback.

Well, you could lose a bit of attitude for a starter by the sound of your comments, more negatives than a photo developer's shop!

Maybe your right but...

Once bitten twice shy. When you've trained at a school where these comments were applicable you sort of want to make sure that the next school you train with isn't just as bad. Besides before i spend another 15k i wouldn't mind knowing if there professional or not.

Please Nicad, I don't want to charge up your furious anger with this...

Besides before i spend another 15k i wouldn't mind knowing if there professional or not.
I just had to laugh at your professionalism with your spelling and syntax.

Good luck with the instructing course, I'm sure the Brisbane CFI's will be looking out for you.
