Air New Zealand interview

Can any one help me?
I have an Air New Zealand interview soon. My 1st airline interview. I have been living in the Nth Hemisphere for 4 years now and feel rather out of touch as to what ANZ asks etc.
Does any one have any cheat sheets, interview questions, or thoughts they would like to share with me please,
Cheers,

22 north

Hi 22 North,

Hope the interview went well for you.

Would you mind explaining what format the interview process took?

What type of flight time & Aircraft endorsements you have?

Did they give any idea as to pay rates?

Cheers,

Hi Jetracer,
i have 4000 tt, 2200 on BE1900, 1400 multi PIC
the interview process is quite complete
day 1
document check, ie licences, medical, qualifications, log book
flight planning, problem solving individual exercise
sim ride 747-400. basic instrument and handling exercise.
day2
tech exam, panal interview
day 3

they only have nz bases crew, although there is talk of opening a base in LAX

if you want me to email you material on ANZ interview, send me your email address

as for pay, no not sure, and when it really comes down to it, it doesn\'t really come into the equation. get a jet job first before thinking who pays best

Question info re sim session

Would anybody have info about the sim session, eg. which a/c is now being used and what the pitch/power settings for the respective speeds are?

Thanks

Talking

G'day BCF Breath,

Yeap, I reckon it can't hurt to be prepared so that I can jump at relatively short notice....

cheers

Check your PMs.

There are 40 new hires between now and the end of November '05.

Still the 747-400 unless it is broken.

Dont know what BCF has told you but dont get too wrapped up in profiles, speed, attitudes etc, because as BCF said if the 747 sim is broken they will do it in something else. Anyway they give you all the information you need for the sim ride. My 2 cents worth.
