While we are on the subject of Flight Tests, has anyone ever been tested on a Preflight Inspection as part of a flight test?
The first preflight I got tested on was part of my ATPL flight test! Never been tested before. Amazing.

Yep Graham inspected my Prfelight on the 172 for my CPL. He caught me out on the little perspex knob on the wing tip. Didnt know what it was for so i asked him. And yes i still passed lol

Sounds like I got away with it for too long then.
Either that, or maybe preflighting is the most exciting part of GL's day. Maybe he likes to walk around outside with the candidates. I should imagine he's sick of hearing the same old story time and time again...
