What is the big deal about a FEMALE making command ?

Congratulations by the way, but jeez, get over it everyone. Females have been in command of heavy metal for years... It is no longer a novelty.

Would it not be a great day when posts like this are not required as it would be so common as not to require further comment.

Bring on the future where we are all just pilots that fly airplanes!

Well congratulations to her but what's the big deal? There's plenty of female captains about these days so stop being so sexist everyone.

Maybe the big deal is just one friend congratulating the other friend on gaining a command and adding the female bit for added interest?

I thought Debbie Wardley was the end of all this "first female to do...." crap.

Why does gender matter? She's a pilot. Get on with it people.
