Tsunami

Does anyone else shake their head in bewilderment?
Yes, but not for the reason you would like me to, Uncommon Sense!

The futility of war, any war, but Iraq getting more troops and a ship - which will sail right past Sumatra and Aceh whilst NGO's and other elements of our Air Force and Defence Force struggle to work out how to get logisitc support to the many 100,000's of survivors and injured in the wake of a massive natural disaster on our doorstep?
HMAS Kanimbla will be underway to Sumatra this evening with a contingent of ADF specialists and helicopters to aid the stricken populance.

Rather quick on the draw, shooting off the hip Uncommon Sense. An apology would not go amiss.

Probably a few apologies, Hot Dog.

Another thread has a bunch of fools bickering, back stabbing and back chatting. Stupidity. All this whilst Rome burns, as it were.

The loss and destruction is staggering. I can only shake my head and wonder about how lucky we really are here in Australia.
