Reminds me of the old Stanbroke days, (this had more buildings and bridges, a few less cows)

Top stuff!

Imagine CASA's reaction if Redbull wanted to organise a similar event in Australia!!!

They'd go beresk!!!

Great Vid....but it'd never happen outside Eastern Europe or China.

Pity - How cool would that look over Sydney Harbour, or Lake Burly in Canberra? I'd like to see that

THAT goes straight to number 1 ans will take some beating.

Loved the way he ratcheted his seat belt tight.

ME the pucker factor would have been so high and me stuck so tight they'd have needed tyre levers to get me out.

simply outstanding! just simply breathtaking

love the ratchet (torque-method) of tightening the lap belt, those laps never feel tight enough!

8+g on the turn and he still pegs it on the nose! awesome.

its is soooooo good , even the eastern-eurorock sound track sounds good.

More than my old laptop can stand...so I've watched it about 37 times on my daughters mega gigawhatsit desk top...even she who is well sick of aeroplanes watched it twice with an amazed look.

Now if I sell my Bonanza can I afford an extra 300...or a Sukhoi 29...probably not

7*#@&...Citabria they are called Hooker Harness...know what ya mean about floating an inch outa the seat when upside down..most unpleasant.

Sent a copy of the video to my oldest son works for Red Bull Australia, and he tells me that the (Austrian) owner recently purchased a hangar and several aerobatic aircraft in Europe.
I wonder if these are they?

He also said that the company has just recently purchased an aerobatic aircraft (he doesn't know the type) that will be Sydney based, and that they plan on using it for promo flights.
How cool would that look over Sydney Harbour, or Lake Burly in Canberra? I'd like to see that
So it may be about to happen, Obiwan

...and this related link, Hangar 7 - home of the Flying Bulls

No Kap, those are'nt the Red Bull aircraft.

The aircraft and pilots are some of the top guns from aerobatic competion. I recognised Kirby Chamblis and his Edge 540 (The yellow aircraft with the very arty colour scheme), who is a multiple US champion and Eddie Dusard in the silver Cap 232, former French and World Champion. The other aircraft were a Sukoi 31 (the big radial) and an Extra 300l (Yellow and red with the long canopy).

Great footage, and I guess these aircraft would be the best in existance for this type of flying, but I wonder what could be achieved if these events got to the point of having specifically designed aircraft with pilots dedicated to this kind of competition.

Ah what a poof…..a real bloke would have done it all inverted.

Kap M…Starting one of those with the canopy open is going to ruin your day as it (the canopy) will depart to the rear in the prop wash.
