Piaggio Crash in 1977

On 22FEB77 Piaggio P.166 VH-GOC crashed 20km NNE of Marulan, NSW en route Bankstown to Warracknabeal with a load of day-old chicks. Does anyone know the identity of the pilot who was sadly killed in the crash?

Given that there were nearly 200 views of this topic but no responses, it might be appropriate to record that the name of the pilot was recently established from contemporary newspaper reports and confirmed by a subsequent death notice.

The pilot who tragically lost his life in this accident was David Brendan Brennan A.F.C. (ex Flt Lt RAAF).

With respect.

Closure. Simple as that. Because nearly 200 readers cared enough to read the original post.
