Yes, they are acceptable provided that they are "look over" style.

What would I have to do to get a PPL after not flyin for 15 years?

Lord help us ... Tinpis launches again....

I would think:

1. Warn every aircraft within 100 NM radius; and
2. Keep well clear of built up areas........
