Oz basings for foreign carriers

Does anybody know what the situation is with pilots based in Australia and flying for foreign carriers (SQ,CX,EK)??

Any rumours that they are looking for more pilots at all? When? Where?

As far as I know,SQ have crew based in Bne. Syd & Per.
