The $10'000 dreamtime
If you were 30 years old.....had 550 hours, (120 multi, an expired command multi instrument rating).....and after many years of saving had $10 k in your bank,.....and all you had was a clapped out car and a yearning to get back into flying after a 2 year break........what would you do, to best get ahead in aviation???
buy an endorsement and pick up some icus?? become an instructor??
This is me...and Im looking for options
If this was you.......what would you do?

Well..
I suppose how much you really want (its a real question not a sad cliche).
I would say grab a plane to get current and a couple of hours of general handling, then head north!!
with 550 hours you meet the min requirement of quite a few companies, and with that bit of multi might even see you onto a twin with said company in the future.
But you have to be in it to win it....i'd be contacting as many companies as possible before even leaving (let your fingers do the walking...before all of your dollars do)
my 2 cents

As much as i hate it but with those hours you might still have to go bush for a while and i'd keep the money for later when you know an operator that needs a specific endorsement as a minimum requirement. Good Luck.
