Well Hugh, I must confess we got slapped and caned - well a cane of sorts : they used to hit us with the cane handle of a feather duster ...

Of course this was a looong time ago (60's) ... I think they were getting back at the world for having to wear those long black habits - and of course for being sexuality repressed...

Eye,
That bought back memories. The cane on the feather duster. Being left-handed didn't help either. In their futile attempts to change me, they would chant "That's the hand of Satan" as the cane came down on the knuckles of my left hand!

Never mind, I always got even with the b'stards

Ahh, the 60's. The halcyon days of corporal punishment ...Who else saw Armstrong walk on the moon?

I didn't get 100% because the answer children's is not correct. It should be either childrens', or child's. In fact children's would never make sense since the apostrophe before the s represents a singular particle, but the word children refers to more than one. At least, I think so.

Might have to get back to basic's on that one.
