Qantas expanded history
G'Day all,
Having searched the QF website and here I am wondering if anyone could point all of us in the direction of an expanded Qantas history timeline be it on the net or in a book (preferably net.) QF's page is vague but I'm after in particular the exact dates of who did what in the company and when aircraft were introduced/phased out etc and any other general information with dates.
Cheers

Qantas Founders Outback Museum at Longreach phone (07) 4658 3737 have a range of Qantas history books for sale.
There was a series of books published some years ago which covered the history of Qantas from 1921 to around 1980. I have a feeling "Qantas Rising" by Hudson Fysh may have been one in the series.
Yes - I was correct. The Qantas Foundation Memorial Book Set
Obviously you didn't Google your question......... There a heap of Qantas history references on the internet.

"The Qantas Foundation Memorial Book Set"
Anyone who has read these books care to give a review?
I see that there's five books in the series, I was wondering if it's worth while to get them all, or maybe just "Qantas Rising", i.e. is there a lot of replicated info in the books?
Thanks

The original 3 - "Qantas Rising", "Qantas at War" and "Wings to the World" don't have duplication in them as they are sequential history by Fysh. You may find some duplication in the other two.
G'day
